🇨🇦The DJ Ron Nelson CANCELED 4-Song EP (produced by DJ Scam), was released Tuesday October 7th, with songs designed to push buttons and stimulate debate and conversation. 

🇨🇦The opening track on CANCELED is called I’M NOT GAY, and the title alone will make many curious to listen. The song is provocative yet balanced and is anchored and driven by a dope DJ Scam beat. I’M NOT GAY creatively pushes the buttons of anyone who has elements of homophobia and blind hate inside them. A song like this has never been written before, and despite it being enlightening, may be disturbing to some.

🇨🇦Track #2 is called ONE FOR THE TEAM, this time taking on the issue of menopause, but for the first time in rap, you get  to hear a man’s perspective, even though us non-entitled men are often shut out of the conversation. 

🇨🇦Track #3 on CANCELED is titled I DON’T EAT BEEF. This song features an uncensored NWA-styled flavour — raw, uncensored and sexually explicit lyrics not suitable for airplay, taboo subjects dealing with oral sex and all that.

🇨🇦Track #4 on CANCELED is titled WHITE GIRL, and deals with the difficulties of inter-racial marriage and relationships. The story is familiar yea, but how often have you heard Black rappers lyrically defending their choice to date a white girl?
