DO WHAT U WANT by DJ Ron Nelson + Franchesca, is a Dance music-House music single released on the RONSHOUSE album [Episode 04-Trackk 01] in late June 2022. Not too many lyrics for this song, “I’m gonna do what I wanna do, do what I wanna do, do what I wanna do now” (Do What U Want). That’s it, that’s the hook, probably the simplest song lyrically from all 54 songs produced in the 5-album 40 YEARS TOO LATE series. 

This song can be the backdrop for many scenarios, especially the ones that involve personal determination, motivation and skillmanship. DO WHAT U WANT was produced in the late 90’s at Apache Studios, Franchesca was one of the beautiful young singers from a  3-girl group I managed called WILD EXPRESSIONS. I have no idea where she is now, but when I found the master on my studio DAT Tape, I knew I had to release this song, produced at a time when I was experimenting with a lot of House music as a producer and engineer.
