Ants in Jamaica

Not like ones here

They climb trees in yaad

Rip flesh and tear

Jamaican ants in the trees

A frightening thing

Some terrible ones have wings

Viscous bite, vicious sting

Ants scout the trees

Trees provide protein

Mother ants feed

Little ant babies

Jamaican ants don’t make no sound

They build nests called mounds

Pushing up soil, I see them around

Watch them tunnel into the ground

Slap them before they strike

Invade their space if you like
It’s where they all live together

Stings turns into itchy white blister

Jamaican ants are aggressive
Venomous insects sting

And skin cause painful, intense itching
They bite and latch on

They sting you seven or eight times

Pivoting their abdomen in circular lines

Jamaican ants

They make all the laws

With their steady strong jaws

Step on an ant site, deadly bite

Then you bawl!

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Swelling, bumps, burning, itching

Scratching, bitching

An incision, I’m in pain

It’s so excruciating

Doctors keep me waiting

The ants were unforgiving

Working for a living

Venom injecting

Piercing, pivoting

Please, I need medical attention

Those welts they turned to blisters

I got systematic symptoms

You scream, you whisper

No one listens

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Ants, my ankles, toes

Collar, neck

Ants on my private

Ants on me, they ravage

I can’t manage

Jamaican red ants so savage

Ants in my my shirt

Socks, shoes, pants

Stung by red ants

I do a little dance

You and them duel

Jamaican ants rule

Those ants were so cruel

I’m just ant food

Attack you like an army

Jamaican ants
Wanna harm me

So they try to swarm me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me

Red ants try to swarm me

Attack me like an army

Red ants try to harm me

They bite me when they’re on me
